About Us
Our mission and values are central to who we are and what we believe about Jesus.
Our Mission
“We exist to exalt, enjoy, and extend the grace of God in Jesus Christ.”
1
Exalt
We praise that which captivates our hearts. As sinners saved by grace through faith in Christ, Jesus has captivated our hearts, and we now live to exalt the grace of God in him. At Redeeming Grace Church, we rejoice in the gospel week after week as we gather to sing God’s praise, listen to the preaching of His word, and encounter His presence through the ministry of the Spirit, prayer, and the sacraments.
Enjoy
We share what we enjoy with those around us. At Redeeming Grace Church, we enjoy the grace of God in Christ and we share that grace in community with one another. We are a diverse group of people with varied backgrounds and experiences, all united together in Christ. By sharing the various gifts of the Spirit with one another, we experience the grace of God through fellowship, care, and service.

Extend
The good news of the gospel is intended to be spread. Every believer has the wonderful privilege and responsibility to share the good news of God’s saving grace in Christ. At Redeeming Grace Church, our desire is to extend the gospel of grace into our community. We are also committed to planting new churches and participating in ministries of mercy.
Here's What We Value as a Church
The core values of any organization reflect who it is and what it believes. At Redeeming Grace Church, we have seven core values that we share with our fellow Sovereign Grace Churches.
Gospel-Centered
We believe that the gospel—the good news of God’s saving activity in Jesus Christ—is the pinnacle of His redemptive acts, the center of the Bible’s story, and the essential message for our faith, life, and witness. We are committed to preaching the gospel, singing the gospel, praying the gospel, and building our church upon the gospel.
Expository Preaching
Expository preaching clearly explains the original God-intended meaning of Scripture and faithfully applies the meaning of the text to our lives. It is preaching in which the main point of the biblical text being considered becomes the main point of the sermon being preached, shaping our lives both individually and as a church.
Continuationist
We believe the Holy Spirit desires to continually fill each believer with increased power for Christian life and witness, including the giving of His supernatural gifts for the building up of the church and for various works of ministry in the world. We are eager to pursue God’s active presence in all its breadth, that Christ may be magnified in our lives, in the church, and among the nations.
Complementarian
We believe it was God’s glorious plan to create men and women in His image, giving them equal dignity and value in His sight, while appointing differing and complementary roles for them within the home and the church.
Reformed
Scripture presents the all-glorious, triune God as the source and end of all things, sovereignly working all things according to His will. At the center of God’s purposes in the world is the exaltation of His glory through the redemption of sinners. To this end, we believe that God sovereignly chooses men and women to be saved in order to display His immeasurable grace and glory.
Missional
Our gospel-centrality entails not only treasuring the gospel personally but sharing it passionately. The risen Christ commissioned His church to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20). We do this in partnership with churches in our denomination, Sovereign Grace Churches.
Partnerships
We enjoy rich relationships with other churches in the Franklin area, the broader United States, and across the globe. Our partnerships help us to care for our members and advance the gospel.
Sovereign Grace churches are built on strong commitments, faithful theological convictions, and generous support.
